![]() Just gave me the 4 beeps in a row ASUS hardware failure notification. ![]() Lastly, I updated the bios to the most recent version 1602 ) and it wouldn't even post. I would then have to hold down the power key until it shut off, turn the power back on (about a 25% chance here of getting an "overclock failure" error message when booting up) go into bios and then restart from there and would load into windows okay showing 1600MHz. 1 in 5-10 times it would properly restart or shut down. Upon further use, basically adding the drivers and updating windows which has lots of restarts I noticed it would almost never restart or shut down properly. CPU-Z read 1600MHz so I thought I was all good. When I first started the new computer using bios version 1101 () I was able to turn on X.M.P and load into windows. I was first using an Ultra X4 750W Modular PSU. ![]() I recently built my new rig in a CM Storm Stryker (although why the storm trooper is black and the white case is called something else I'll never understand) and have a couple of questions specifically about overclocking the RAM and CPU on this motherboard and some of the issues I've had in doing so.
